Tim A. Sannito

Tim A. Sannito, 52, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 after a vicious attack that took his life. The loss of Tim has left his family and friends with an unsettling void in their lives.

Tim was born on Wednesday, August 19, 1970, to Robert and Nancy (Nytko) Sannito in Hammond, Indiana. Tim was one of five sons to Robert and Nancy. Tim loved his brothers very much and always enjoyed the time he spent with them.

Tim and Karen attended and graduated from Purdue University together. Tim graduated from the engineering program. He received his MBA degree from the University of Indianapolis. Tim was a member of Triangle Engineering Fraternity at Purdue. Tim has worked for NSK for the last 30 years.

Tim coached many teams for multiple years for both his son and daughter. He loved being a dad and husband. He loved grilling with his son and going to “Dad’s Weekend” at IU with his daughter. He was a family man and loved deeply. Tim was a devoted and kind son and son-in-law.  He would regularly call his mom and visit with her.  Tim loved bonfires and bean soup with his father-in-law and would always fix the computer for his mother-in-law.

Tim is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Sannito and their children Megan Sannito and Jim Sannito; his mother, Nancy Sannito; brothers, John Sannito (Julie Mortas) and children Andru Sannito and Jane Sannito (Miles Gunty), Tom Sannito and wife Katie and son Anthony, Pat Sannito and sons Sean and Connor, Chris Sannito and wife Magdalena and their son Michael and daughter Sophia.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, Robert “Sam” Sannito.

Visitation is Saturday, March 18, 2023, 1:00 pm until 3;00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Celebration of Tim’s Life will begin at 3:00 pm.
