Wilma Jean Wooden 95 of Carmel Indiana peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 8, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on Easter Sunday April 4, 1926.
She celebrated her 95th birthday on Easter Sunday April 4, 2021 at her home in Carmel.
She was a women of patent strength and endurance who valued her Lord and family above everything else.
She was married to William Thomas Wooden on October 4, 1947.
She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Leona Faulk, her husband of 62 years William T. Wooden, her sister JoAnn Fink, and her son Thomas Michael Wooden (Cyndie)
She is survived by her children Steven William Wooden (Nancy) Keith Alan Wooden (Delaine) and Jean Marie Wyatt (Steve).
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren Kelly Marusich, Matthew Wooden, Jesse Dean,
Whitney Strange, Keaton Wooden, Carrie Wyatt, Cassie Robison. Scott Wyatt, Beau Wyatt,
Lizzie Wyatt, and 3 step-grandchildren Kimberly Saunders. Karri Low and Seth Falcone. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren
As a family we look forward to her resurrection and our glorious reunion with her Lord Jesus Christ and ours.
A private family celebration of her life will be held at Oaklawn cemetery on July 17.
