Wilma June Bewley

Wilma June (Garloch) Bewley, 95, born on June 6, 1930, in Brown County, Indiana, passed away on March 1, 2026. She loved the Lord, her family, her church and her friends and was loved by all.

June is now reunited with Bill Bewley, her husband of 68 years, and her grandson, James Dale Bewley, Jr. Survived by June are her children: Sharen (Duane) Newman, Karen (Rick) Adcock, Marcia (Greg) Leis, Jim (Ann) Bewley, and Ron (Beverly) Bewley; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Bernie) Sunday, Jenn (Rob) Moore, Michelle (Craig) Clark, Kristin (Michael) Call, Kyle (Lisa) Adcock, Matt (Jody) Leis, Scott (Megan) Leis and Missy Bewley; and her great-grandchildren: Camille, Connor and Calli Clark, Savannah, Austin, Summer and Ella Call, Josiah and Kaiyah Lancaster, Ryan and Rachel Adcock, Seraphina and Zeke Moore, Mitchell, Evan and Everett Leis, Vinnie Berry, Ellie Romine and Cordelia Smelser.

June worked at International Harvester, Sears, Roebuck & Co., and Ben Davis Jr. High School. She was a member of Light and Life Church of Avon, Indiana, for 71 years. She loved working in the Food Pantry and going to softball games. Any time the church doors were open, she was there.

Services will be on Sunday, March 8, at Light and Life Church, 8264 E County Road 100 South, Avon, Indiana, with visitation from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and the service following at 4:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Light and Life Church Food Pantry in Avon, Indiana.
