Willie Earl Gay

Willie Earl Gay was born June 1, 1944 in Carterville, Georgia to Virgil and Leila Gay.
Willie attended Summer Hill – Elementary School later relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana.  
Where he graduated from George Washington High School. 

Willie formerly attended New Garfield Baptist Church, he was active in the following departments; usher, choir and upcoming deacon.  He was also a proud member of Christ Church Apostolic, where he active involve Sunday school, Usher Broad and Host.
Willie worked at Ford Motor Company where he retired April 11, 1996. 
Willie was united in holy matrimony to Rowena Floyd on December 2nd, 1967.   As a couple, Willie & Rowena was known for their adventures of traveling different places.  They had made their marks of traveling every states except for Alaska. They had travel to Europe and Caribbean Islands. They also enjoy attend many amusement parks from Coney Island to Holy land. 
Willie enjoy sports, he was devoted fan of Indiana pacers & Indianapolis Colts. 
Willie was devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle who will be sadly missed by family and friends.  Willie departed this life May 26, 2022 at the age of 77. 
Willie preceded in death by his parents Virgil Joseph Gay, Leila Spikes Gay, Brothers/Sisters Lucy Milner, Ora Lee Gay, Josie Brown, Rueben Gay Sr., Elizabeth Pruitt, Floy McAfee, Roberta Rasberry, son Larry Radford Sr.
Willie leaves to cherish loving memories to his wife of 54 years, Rowena Gay, daughter Cordelia Jones-Hill, son Glenn Anthony Sargent, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
