William “Bill” Earl Vickery, 77, of Westfield, IN, passed away on June 27, 2025, at Compassus Hospice Care in Indianapolis, IN. Bill was born on July 24, 1947, to William Taylor Vickery and Margaret Jean (Browning) Vickery. After completing his education, he went to work as an insulator for National Asbestos Workers until he retired. Bill later met his long-time best friend and partner, Nancy Henderson, and together they spent many years exploring their mutual interests in spirituality, alternative healing modalities, and enjoying family time.
Bill loved nature, enjoyed fishing and was an avid gardener. Bill had a personality bigger than life, telling stories that will keep us all smiling for years to come. He spent many of his later years pursuing his passion as a spiritual energy healer and loved helping people with his gift. He was closely connected with grey wolves and knew them to be his spirit animal. Bill’s greatest joy in life, however, was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
William is survived by his partner, Nancy Henderson; children, DeAnna (Brian) Sizemore, Steven Vickery, and Jennifer Mann; grandchildren, Makayla George, Austin Myers, Patrick Myers, Abby Sizemore, Annabelle Sizemore, as well as three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Taylor Vickery and Margaret Jean Vickery, as well as one grandchild, Courtney George.
