William “Bill” Reininger, 83, of Fishers, IN, passed peacefully on September 10, 2020. He was born October 22, 1936 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Joseph and Gladys (née Reiger) Reininger. He married Marie Margaret “Peggy” Curry August 11, 1956 and had three children. Alta (Mike) Butler of Holland, MA, William Reininger II, and Jane (Rick) Hehman of Fishers, IN. Following his wedding, he served in the Honor Guard of the Air Force for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. After serving his country, he returned to New England as a master printer.

In life, he enjoyed dancing with Peggy, reading, hunting, fishing, his pets, and watching NFL Football.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his son, his parents, and brother Paul Reininger. He is survived by his daughters and four grandchildren Daniel Butler, Katie Butler, William Hehman and Charles Hehman.

A private, family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society in Bill’s name.
