William “Bill” Arthur Parsons, born on July 4, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully in Noblesville on June 24, 2025, at the age of 86. He was the beloved son of Bus and Rose Parsons and grew up with his siblings Bob (Grace), the late Barbara (John), and the late Ron.
On April 15, 1960, Bill married Linda Mae (Berry), the love of his life, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage before her passing in December 2024. Together they built a home filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering support, raising two sons, Bill and David.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army and later dedicated nearly 30 years of service to AT&T, where his work ethic and loyalty left a lasting impression. He found joy in simple pleasures: spending time with his family, cheering for the Indianapolis Colts and Purdue, playing golf, and supporting Linda in her love of bowling.
He is survived by his son Bill and daughter-in-law Beth (Massey) Parsons; his grandchildren Jennifer (Parsons) Outlaw (Weston) and Michael Parsons (Seryn); and his six great-grandchildren: Lila, Tate, Carter, Skylar, Mackenzie, and Landry. Karen Parsons, the widow of his son David, remains a cherished part of the family, as does his niece, Bethany (Hickey) Crain (Jason).
Bill will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love of storytelling, and the sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
