William Craig Fisher

William Craig Fisher, age 72, past away at Community East Hospital on October 16, 2023. He was the son of Edward Scott Fisher and Willma Jean (Taylor) Lile, both deceased. 
He was born August 28, 1951. He joined the Navy in August of 1969 and retired from the Navy in March of 1992. He then moved back to Indiana from Florida and started his own locksmith business the A-Atlas Locksmith from 1993 to 2007. Later, he became an over the road driver in 2008 and fully retired in 2019. 
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Freda Estell (Hale) Fisher; three daughters, Kim Graham, Anessa Gottfried, and Billie Meyer; and one step-daughter, Ellen Cann. He had 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Paul Fisher, and one sister, Denise Burkes, along with many nieces and nephews. 
He loved to hunt and the outdoors and anything and everything that had to do with the sea and the Navy. 
There will be a memorial service will be on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at VFW Post #7119 at 6525 Lee Road Indianapolis, Indiana 46236 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM.
