William Michael Fayette

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Michael Fayette, “Mike,” who passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 25, 2026, with his beloved wife, Trishie Fayette, by his side.

William lived a life filled with experiences, interests, and memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. He worked as a mechanic for many years, dedicating his time and skills to his trade. He was also an avid collector, finding joy in collecting items that caught his interest. His love of collecting was a special part of who he was and reflected his many interests throughout his life.

William is survived by his loving wife, Trishie Fayette, who was by his side in his final moments. He also leaves behind his children: Mike Fayette (wife Victoria), Jeff Fayette (fiancée Kayla), Bonnie Sallee (husband Kevin), Brandy Gregory (late husband Jeff), and Randy Arthur.

He was a beloved grandfather to Michael, Seth, Elizabeth, Grace, Owen, Aiden, DAnthony, and Matty. His family was an important part of his life, and the memories they shared with him will be treasured for generations to come.

William is also survived by his niece, Audrey Curtis (husband TJ), along with his extended family and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jewel Fayette; his sister, Cheryl; and his brother, Jeff.

William’s passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. There is comfort in knowing that he passed peacefully, with his wife lovingly by his side. Though saying goodbye is never easy, the love he shared and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

William will be remembered for his years as a mechanic, his passion for collecting, and, most importantly, the lasting memories he made with his family. His life may have come to an end, but his memory will remain a part of the lives of those who loved him.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30 2026 at 2:00 PM located at Indiana Funeral Care Central, 925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A memorial gathering will start at 12:00PM until the hour of the service.
