Wendy Diane (Daler) Galt, born on January 29, 1959, in La Puente, California, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, at the age of 66. Wendy is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose vibrant spirit touched everyone she met.

A graduate of Northrup High School, class of 1977, Wendy cultivated a lifelong passion for creativity and joy. She found delight in macramé, assembling Lego creations, and engaging in various arts and crafts. Her love for creating was only surpassed by her devotion to her family, which she cherished with all her heart. Wendy spent countless hours collecting seashells on the beach, baking delightful treats, and curating her beloved Barbie collection.

Wendy was particularly proud of her marriage to Edward Galt, which lasted for 24 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, as they navigated life’s journey hand-in-hand. As a mother to Amanda and Deanna, and a grandmother to Seth and Heath, Wendy found unparalleled joy in caring for her grandsons, whom she affectionately regarded as her greatest treasures.

Wendy is survived by her loving husband, Edward Galt; her daughters, Amanda Galt and Deanna (Christopher) Hedin; her grandsons, Seth Russell and Heath Russell; and her siblings, Constance (Daler) Rose, David Daler, and Michael Daler, along with her sister, Tereasa (Frank) Barhart. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Daler and Eleanor Daler, and her brother, Louis Daler. Their memories remain with her family as they celebrate the rich legacy of love and happiness that Wendy left behind.

As we remember Wendy Diane Galt, we honor a life beautifully lived, one filled with creativity, affection, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
