Wayne J. Erp, 50, of Greenwood passed away Nov. 3, 2021. He was born on Feb. 28, 1971 to the late Jimmy W. Erp and Charlotte (Baxter) (Erp) DeWees.
Wayne played in many dart leagues over the years and was an avid car and horse racing fan and fisherman.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Charlotte; twin sister, Lorraine (Erp) Butcher; nieces, Katie and Cassie Butcher of Greenwood, and Brandi Butcher of Broad Ripple; stepmother, Linda Erp; step-brothers, Eric Piercy and Bill DeWees; step-sisters, Jennifer Piercey and Debbie Manson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy; and grandparents, Charles and Ethel Baxter, and Milford and Thelma Erp.
There will be a visitation at First Separate Baptist Church of Indianapolis, 25 Bixler Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227, on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Nathan Hunter officiating.
