Vincent Morrison

Vincent Aaron Morrison, 77, of Sellersburg Indiana, was called to his heavenly home on March 5, 2026. Born in Henryville, Indiana on October 25, 1948, to the late Arthur Morrison and Bonnie Mae (Mullins) Knable. Vince attended Henryville High School where he excelled in academics and earned multiple Varsity letters in Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, and Track. After graduating high school in 1966, Vince continued his education at Indiana University and Indiana University Southeast, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. Vince coached multiple sports including basketball, football, and track. He enjoyed running and staying physically fit. However, he always had room for ice cream and sweet treats.

As a high school educator and dedicated coach, Vince always had a story to tell. Whether he was recalling basketball stats, world history, or memories of loved ones, Vince never failed to entertain those in his presence. From small children to elderly, Vince loved to make others laugh with his quick wit and humor. He found immense joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and dog, Carly. Vince was an avid IU fan, and cheering on the Hoosiers was one of his favorite past times.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Petty, and brothers, Arlie Dotson and Arthur Morrison.

He is survived by his children, Wes (Heather) Morrison; daughter Karyn (Tony) Sinn of McCordsville, Indiana; sister Tommie Lou (Tom) Guernsey of Sellersburg, Indiana; grandchildren Ella, Raylan, and Colton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Mt Zion Cemetery in Henryville, IN on Sunday April 26th, at 12:30 PM. A celebration of life & meal will follow, from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Clark County REMC Community Room. 7810 Hwy 60, Sellersburg, IN, 47172.
