Victoria Merryman

Victoria Sue Merryman, 71, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2023. She was born April 4, 1952 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Alfred and Meredith (Snowberger) Leininger.

Victoria attended North Central and graduated from Thomas Carr Howe, class of 1970. She later graduated from Indiana University in 1983. She married James Lynn Merryman on November 9, 1971. 

Victoria was involved in community theatre for many years. She later excelled in her career in sales, finance and communications. 

Victoria is survived by her siblings, George Leininger, Lois Vertullo, ( Carmen) , Paula Leininger, and Michelle Huss. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Young, and her beloved husband James L. Merryman. 

A memorial service is planned at Post Road Christian Church, 1112 N Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. on October 20, 2023.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Post Road Christian Church of Indianapolis.
