Victor Allen McNeal Sr., affectionately known as Victor or Vic, passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on February 5, 1962, Victor lived a life defined by love, laughter, service, and an unwavering appreciation for the joys of everyday living.
Victor was a man of many wonderful qualities—funny, generous, giving, loving, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a natural gift for making people feel at ease, often through his humor, his storytelling, or one of his signature playful dances. He embraced life to the fullest and lived each day without hesitation, finding joy in both the big moments and the simple ones.
A proud veteran, Victor dedicated 20 years of service to the United States Army as a chemical weapons specialist. His commitment to serving his country continued beyond his military career, as he went on to build a meaningful profession in treaty work, continuing his service to the United States government. He carried himself with pride, discipline, and a deep sense of responsibility throughout his life.
Victor’s love for music began in high school, where he played the trumpet, a passion he continued at his church. Over time, that love grew into a deep appreciation for sound itself, and he became a true audiophile. His listening room was one of his greatest joys—a space where he could fully immerse himself in music and share that experience with others. He especially loved jazz but appreciated a wide variety of music.
Victor also had a passion for food. He especially enjoyed Korean cuisine but loved exploring all kinds of flavors. Cooking was one of the ways he expressed love—he found joy in preparing meals for others and bringing people together. He often spoke of one day owning a food truck, a dream that perfectly reflected his generous spirit and love of sharing with others.
He loved to travel, both through his work and in life, embracing new experiences and cultures along the way. No matter where he went, he carried his warmth, humor, and openness with him.
Victor deeply loved and enjoyed his family and extended relatives, cherishing the time spent together and the bonds they shared. He also maintained strong, meaningful relationships with friends and colleagues throughout his life. His ability to connect with others, to make people feel welcomed and valued, left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Victor loved his wife, Tonya, his children—Victor, Stefan, and Elle—and his grandchildren, Victor III, Gabby, Halo, Nicolas, Bella, and Andrea, deeply. He was especially fond of his daughter-in-law, Angela, who was lovingly referred to as his favorite daughter-in-law. He was the cherished son of Betty and Paul, and a beloved brother to his sisters Paula and Marie. He shared a special bond with his favorite cousin, Dennis, and leaves behind a host of relatives, colleagues, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
To his family, Victor was a source of strength, support, and quiet love. Though not always outwardly expressive with his emotions, his actions spoke volumes. He showed up when it mattered, gave without hesitation, and loved in ways that were deeply felt and never in doubt.
Victor Allen McNeal Sr. will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, his music, his cooking, and the way he made people feel. His life was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will live on in every shared story, every moment of joy, and every life he touched.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
