Veronica Wanda Neal, 90, of Noblesville IN, passed away peacefully at home, on June 6, 2026. She was born on January 14, 1936 in Anderson, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Bradley (2013). Her parents; Honora and Gilbert Hall, father; Alexander Hernick, sister; Barbara and brother William (Bill).
Veronica (Roni) graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Anderson IN, in 1954 where she was known as “shorty” and would be remembered for her sparkle, pep and voted “Best Sense of Humor” and also “Best Legs”. Roni’s working career would include: Typist, Dental Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Department Manager among several paths taken, but her favorite occupation was that of wife and mother. Making a home for her family wherever Brad’s job took them was her greatest achievement having lived in IN, MI, FL and KY. Roni will be remembered by her family, many friends and caring neighbors for her delicious cooking and baking skills always making enough to share with others. Her crochet mastery of afghans, doilies and table clothes will be part of her legacy along with her love of sewing, dancing the polka and jitterbug with Brad and the playing of cards, dominoes and bingo.
Roni was Mother to her children: Timothy/Sandy Neal of Everett, WA, Todd Neal of Noblesville, IN and Tina/David Evans of The Villages, FL. Mammaw to her Grandchildren: Grant/Katie Gauthier of Thompson Station, TN, Taylor/Will DeMarcus of Richmond, KY and Sirie/Josh Coxson of Woodinville, WA. Meemaw to her Great Grandchildren: Raelynn and William DeMarcus and Gwenneth Coxson. She was Aunt Roni to Mona Hill, Tonda Kirby, Gordon Riggs, Karla Payne and Perette Anderson all of TX. Tracie Marling and Trent Hall in IN.
A private family service is planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Veronica’s name be made to the Ascera Care Hospice Foundation at www.asceracare.com.
