Tommy R. Horn 80 yrs old
My husband and best friend passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022 at 11:45 A.M. . At the Mulberry Health Nursing Home in Mulberry Indiana after a long term illness of 12 years.
Tom loved the outdoors ,hunting, fishing, cutting wood, construction work, hiking and boating.
Born 3-19 1942, in the Home Hospital, at Lafayette Indiana to Thomas D, Horn and Marjorie I. Lockard Briles.
He had two sister, Joyce Johnson surviving, and Claudia Horn deceased.
Tom attended Jeff High school at Lafayette, IN. In 9-11-1964 he married Dona J. Hensley Horn of Lafayette, IN.
He worked for the Monon Railroad as a diesel machinist. He was self employed for 18 years in Industrial and Commercial Janitorial and Lawn Service before retiring in 1997.
His hobbies were salmon fishing in Lake Michigan and camping. He loved farming and gardening, enjoyed the outdoors. Tommy was an excellent cook.
He is survived by wife Dona J. Horn, four children, Angelia R. Horn Hatke, Tamela J. Horn and fiance Michael Yates, Thomas M. Horn and fiance Jane Tolliver, Theresa S. Horn Hall and husband William Hall. He had 10 Grand Children and 29 Great Grand Children.
By Tommy's request, There will be no services held. The family will have a celebration of life at a later time.
