Westfield

Timothy Wayne Miner, 54, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

Born February 21, 1969, to Jerry and Carolyn Miner of Windfall, Tim was the middle child of three sons.  His mom, Carolyn (Logan), and brothers Scott (Christie) and Chris (Laurie) survive.  Tim's father preceded him in death.   As a youth, Tim played football and enjoyed hours of fun outside on their family farm.

Tim graduated from Tipton High School in 1987, and Taylor University in 1991.  While at Taylor, Tim met his future wife, Heather.   Tim and Heather were married July 3, 1993, and lived most of their married life in Westfield.

Tim was forever proud of his children and considered his family his greatest accomplishment.  His son Jake is a teacher at Westfield Intermediate School and his daughter, Brookly, is a sophomore studying Civil Engineering at Purdue University.

Faith was an important component of Tim's life and he worshiped at Grace Church.  Before retiring due to his brain cancer diagnosis, Tim was employed by Corteva (Pioneer) in Tipton.

Tim enjoyed watching the Colts, taking Caribbean beach vacations, coaching his children's sports teams, working out, playing X-Box, and spending time hiking with his family.

Tim is survived by nephews and nieces Jason (Malana), Sydney, Joshua, Madison, Abbey, and Luke Miner, Halle (Blayne) Lee, and great niece Charlie.  His nephew Nate Clark preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will take place at Grace Church in Noblesville on August 5 at 2:00pm.  A visitation  and reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Tim's name to the Nate Clark Memorial at 4920 US Hwy 421N, Suite 120, Wilmington, NC 28401 or online to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
