Thomas B. Brown was born in Attica, IN, 10 July 40, to mother D. Adeline Sappington and Oliver Basil Brown.
Grew up in Terre Haute. Graduated from Rose Polytechnic (now Rose-Hulman) in 1963. In 1966 married his best friend, Judith R Kilgo, and were only separated by her death from breast cancer in 2003. That union produced two children (Courtney Ann Ford, K. Joelle Brown) and two grandchildren (Mahle K. Helsper, Von Michael Helsper).
