Theresa Lynn Butler

Theresa Lynn Butler, 59 of Indianapolis, passed away on September 28, 2021. She was the widow of George Lee Butler to whom she shared 29 years of marriage with.

Theresa was born on March 16, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Douglas and Sally Todd.

Theresa was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years. She also enjoyed working at Walmart for more than 19 years with the many friends that she made over the years.

Theresa is survived by her children; Sally (Ronald) Rice, Wesley Butler, and Sarah Butler; stepchildren, Joshua (Emily) Butler and Stephanie Cooper; grandchildren, Raelynn Rice, Wyatt Butler, Dalton Butler, Kyla Cooper, and Ashden Butler-Gibson; mother, Sally I. Todd; and brother, Robert Todd.

Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Butler; grandparents, Charles and Helen Taylor; father, Douglas B. Todd; brother, Ronald Todd; and niece, Trisha Todd.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10am-1pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Southside Church of the Nazarene, 2515 Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm.
