Teresa Marie Jolliff, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 8, 1961, in Patchogue, New York, to Richard "Dick" and Mary (Lynch) Kling, Teresa's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love for her family.
After graduating from Hueneme High School in Oxnard, California, in 1979, Teresa embarked on a fulfilling path in both her personal and professional lives. She worked diligently at Meijer in Plainfield since 2015, where she cultivated many friendships and left a lasting impact on those around her.
On October 7, 1989, Teresa married her cherished husband, Mark Jolliff. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. She took immense pride in her role as a mother to her daughters, Samantha and Kimberly Jolliff. The joy of family was central to Teresa's life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Teresa is survived by her devoted husband Mark, and their loving daughters, Samantha and Kimberly. She is also survived by her father, Richard "Dick" Kling, and her brother, Mike Kling. Teresa’s legacy will not be forgotten, as she leaves behind a family who adored her and numerous friends whose lives she touched.
In remembrance of Teresa, we honor her mother, Mary Kling, and her brothers, Richard Kling Jr., James Kling, Jeffery Kling, and Bill Kling, who all predeceased her. Their memories remain a part of Teresa's enduring spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Teresa's memory and the love she shared with everyone around her. The family suggests contributions to the American Liver Foundation, as a meaningful way to honor Teresa's legacy. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, kindness, and love.
