Tammy Joann Ferguson

Tammy Joann (Hunt) Ferguson was born on August 4, 1967 in Danville, IN to Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" (McKenna) Hunt.

Tammy attended St. Lawrence Catholic School, and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1985. She later attended Indiana Wesleyan University where she pursued a degree in Business Administration. She spent several years working in Customer Service at Ameritech. She worked at the Indiana Blood Center for over 10 years as Customer Service Supervisor and later in Quality Assurance.

Tammy enjoyed reading, cooking for family and friends, watching crime shows, Hallmark movies with her sisters and 90 Day Fiancé. But most of all she loved spoiling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as always being the life of any party and for her witty (and sarcastic) sense of humor.

Tammy departed this life on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 56 years old.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth; her son, Leonard Jr "Leno"; and her bonus-granddaughter, Amayah.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Christina Howard (Brandon); grandchildren, Giovanni, Delaney, and Lenyx Howard; siblings Robert Fuller (Nancy), Patti Vermillion, Kerry Estes, Michael Hunt (Nikki), and John Hunt (Brandy); “The good daughter”-as she would joke- (niece-lol) Beth (Kellen) Wilson, bonus-daughters, Katherine Washington, Remy Parker (Maurice); bonus granddaughters, Lilliana and Leilani Cabarris; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of services, a celebration of life will be held Spring / Early Summer 2024.
