Susan Lynn (Rogers) Bennett, 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed from this life on June 12, 2020 at Indiana University Hospital North in Carmel, Indiana.

Susan was born on September 22, 1956 in Pekin, Illinois to Harold Eugene Rogers and Velma Jean (Guile) Rogers. Susan married Charles V. Bennett, in Atlanta, Georgia on June 9, 1989. Susan faced illness with courage and Christian faith.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Harold Eugene Rogers and by her mother, Velma Jean Rogers. Susan is survived by her husband Charles V. Bennett, by her brother Gary Gene Rogers of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and by her sister Linda Ann (Rogers) Flatt of Fishers, Indiana. She is also survived by four step children; Joshua Bennett of San Antonio, Texas, Christen Bennett of Dallas, Texas, Candace Bennett of London, England, and Caleb Bennett of Mexico City, Mexico, by her nephews, Brent Flatt of Carmel, Indiana, Christian Flatt of Noblesville, Indiana, Scott Rogers of King George, Virginia, and by her niece Kerrie (Rogers) Byles of Dacula, Georgia and by two grandchildren; Gabriella and Lucas Bennett.

Susan was a member of Heartland Church in Fishers, Indiana.

Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rufus Lewis of Heartland Church will deliver a memorial message in celebration of Susan’s life.
