Suniti Mondal, wife of the late Rev. Ramesh Chandra Mondal and mother of Robert, Alfred, Usher and Rowland, passed away early Sunday morning, June 5th 2022. She was 90 years old.
Suniti was a dedicated pastor’s wife, loving mom, a cheerful and energetic grandma, adorable great-grandma and a devoted and wise Christian leader in her community. She served her dear Chunkuri Baptist Church in Khulna, Bangladesh for thirty-five years. She was elected as a Baptist woman convener in Khulna District for ten years.
She was one of the pioneers of the family planning work for the Khulna District Government in the late 1960s.
She was a Good Samaritan to many lives and countless widows and orphans.
Her love and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ her Savior and King was displayed by her acts of kindness to others and obedience to the Word of God.
One of her favorite verses in the Bible was: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.”
(Psalm 119:105-106 NIV)
She wrote this verse in her last diary page, on June 2nd, 2022.
