Sue was the oldest of 6 children whose ages spanned across 9 years. Needless to say, Sue was engaged in their care and upbringing.
Sue was married to Fred Zuck for 32 years until his passing in 2017. They shared a passion for the arts and were steadfast supporters of the IRT. Sue and Fred enjoyed walking and hiking and they participated in several Volksmarches. Sue was an avid reader, an excellent cook and loved sewing and quilting.
Sue loved animals but was highly allergic to them. In lieu of animals, Sue and Fred adopted and cared for a multitude of stuffed animals.
Sue was very inquisitive and a continuous learner obtaining a BA (Biology), 2 Masters degrees (Chemistry and Computer Science). She was a registered dietitian and earned teaching certificates in aqua aerobics and yoga.
Sue was active in her community volunteering at Second Helpings and Flourish Yoga + Wellbeing.
Sue taught aqua aerobics, yoga and conducted workshops on nutrition at El Beulah Wellness Center.
Sue was the health care representative for her 102 year old mother and enjoyed spending time with her 94 year old aunt.
She is survived by her 102 year old mother, 4 siblings, a sister-in-law, 6 nieces and nephews and 5 ½ great nieces and nephews. (A niece is expecting in September.)
Sue will be greatly missed by her family, her countless friends and her community.
Sue Dumm, 75, passed away Friday June 5, 2026. She is survived by her mother (Phyllis), 2 sisters (Roxanne – Michael Aldridge; Viki – Bruce Anderson), 2 sister-in-laws (Connie Dumm; Michele Zuck) 2 brothers (Michael – Ellen Dumm; Philip – Nanette Dumm) and 11 nieces and nephews.
