Steven Alan Sutton, 75 passed away the morning of October 19th,2024. At the time of his passing he was an inpatient at IU Hospital North. He was residing at Crown Pointe of Carmel for the last 6 months, previously he resided in Fishers for many years.

Steven was born on April 9th, 1949 in Sullivan, Indiana to Kenzie and Ada (Walls) Sutton. Steven grew up in Fairland Indiana and graduated from Triton Central in 1967, he just attended his 55th Reunion in 2022 with 30 plus classmates. Steven enjoyed bowling on multiple bowling leagues throughout his younger years and was an active member of the Noblesville Moose #540 for many years. He loved to go listen to bands and enjoyed dancing at the Moose on Saturday Evenings. Steven worked as a Welder for 35 years, drove a school bus and was also a Caretaker for Union Chapel Cemetery. Steven was a big Cubs fan, he also enjoyed watching old Westerns. Amazing Grace was one of Steven’s most favorite songs, he enjoyed going to Euche parties, playing Rummy and Yahtzee with family friends and his grandchildren and most recently found out he enjoyed playing Dominoes.

Steven is survived by his Significant other of almost 20 years Becky Gardner. His children, Jeffrey (Donna) Sutton, Jennifer (Kenny) Bolin, and James Sutton Sr. Bonus children include Andrea Gardner and Jon (Shonna) Gardner. Grandchildren, Christopher (Chelsey) Polewski, Joshua (Kayla) Lindamood, Jeffrey (Faith) Sutton Jr., James Sutton II, Donnie Sutton, Matthew Sutton, Kenneth Bolin, Angel Bolin, Annabelle Kuwik, Macy Gardner, Eliza Gardner, Scott Kennedy, Lincoln Gardner, Charlotte Frataccia and Blakey Frataccia. Great Grandchildren include Raelynn, Maverick, Bentley and Tate Polewski, Dakota Sutton and Benjamin Lindamood. Steven was also survived by two of his sisters, Janet (Ross) Hightshoe and Susie Sutton.

Steven is proceeded in death by his parents Kenzie and Ada Sutton. His sister Linda Hammond, brothers Larry, Ronnie and Joe Sutton.

There will a showing at Indiana Funeral Care located at 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis In 46250 on Friday October 25th, 2024 from 4-7pm with a service at 7pm conducted by Brent Emerick, Assoc. Pastor at Cyntheanne Christian Church where Steven was a member. Steven will then be cremated and there will not be a public graveside service.
