Steven (PeeWee) Floerke

March 13, 1950 – July 8, 1925

Steven Edward Floerke, 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

He was probably most recognized as “PeeWee”, the nickname he was given while working at State Road Market. He started working there while in his early teens and continued to do so for many years. He later worked for Mitchell Scott Machine Co.

He was passionate about his vegetable garden and loved nothing more than sharing his special tomatoes with friends and family.

He loved camping and boating and while he never learned to swim, he was an avid water skier. He enjoyed taking loved ones out on his boat and teaching them to ski or just go tubing.

Steven is survived by his wife, Becky Floerke, his four brothers James Floerke, William Floerke, Donald Floerke, David Floerke, and three sisters Patricia (Floerke) Ringham, Sherry (Floerke) Hamner, and Sandra (Floerke) Barlow. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Floerke and Margaret (Kempfer) Floerke, as well as two sisters, Linda (Floerke) McDonough and Susan Floerke.

Steven touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all. Memorial contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
