Stephen D. Baringer, 84, was born on November 21, 1941, in Lebanon, Indiana, to Marion B. and Nettie (Snyder) Baringer. He passed away on March 19, 2026.
A 1959 Granville Wells High School graduate, Steve served in the US Air Force from 1959 to 1964. He then worked for Navel Avionics, the FAA Regional Control Center, and spent 22 years at the United States Post Office, as well as farming.
Steve married Fern Pennington in 1960, and they shared nearly 66 years together.
He is survived by his wife, Fern; sons, Steve of Texas, and Marion (Janet) of Jamestown; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
At Steve's request, there will be no services.
