Stella Potts

Stella Napier Potts of Greenfield, Indiana transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly Home on June 8, 2026 at age 90.

 She was born February 2, 1936 in Saul, Perry County, Kentucky to the late Clark and Samantha Couch Napier and she was Born Again on October 29, 1965 in a small church in Phoenix, Arizona and that is when she began a new life with Jesus as her lifelong companion. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Randall V. Potts, Sr., two children, Danny E. Potts and Brenda S. Raney, a Grandson Joseph T. Potts and 2 Sons-In-Law, Randall K. Raney and John W. Cordell, 7 brothers, Thurman, Clinton, Elbert, Foley, Merida, Paris and Arson Napier and 5 sisters, Carlie Lewis, Carnie Seal, Vesta Helton, Malvery Spicer and Sophia Press. 

She is survived by 4 children, Randall V. Potts, Jr., Michael L. Potts (Teresa) Deborah L. Cordell and Donna E. Pratt (Gregory). 15 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.

 Stella was a member of Victory Fellowship Church in Shelbyville, Indiana and dearly loved her church and Jesus. Stella also loved her family unconditionally and her main goal in life was to make sure that her family would have a relationship with Jesus and join her in heaven at the end of this life. She enjoyed traveling and has visited 32 of the 50 states as well as 3 foreign countries. She was Retired from her job of 29 years as State Secretary/Treasurer for the Church of God State Executive Offices, first in Greenwood, Indiana and then in Phoenix, Arizona.

Services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Indiana Funeral Care Greenwood Chapel located at 2433 East Main Street Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation will be held from 10am to 11am and service will begin immediately after at 11am with The Reverend Gregory L. Pratt officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Crothersville Cemetery, Crothersville, Indiana following the service the same day at 2pm.
