Stanley “Doc” Wisehart passed away June 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Doc was born February 12, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN.

Doc Wisehart had a successful career as a firefighter. Starting as a Volunteer and moving up to Chief of Fire with the Washington Twp. Fire Dept. He retired from the fire department in 1998. He also started a business Embroidery Plus in 1991. Which is a family operated business that will continue his legacy for years to come. He served in the Army Reserves for 6 years.

Doc is proceeded in death by his parents James and Thelma Wisehart. His sisters Joretta Moore, Theresa Sparks and brother Robert Wisehart.

Doc is survived by his wife Joanne, his daughters Carrie and Ladonna, his grandchildren Kira (Brandon), Kaylee (Devin), Danielle, Tyler (Jessica) and 10 great grandchildren. His 5 siblings, many nieces and nephews, and was a surrogate father to many. Doc lived to serve and protect his family, friends, community, and country.

He touched so many lives and will be missed by all. A Celebration of Life for Doc will be held Sunday, July 19 at the White River Yacht Club from 2-5.
