Socorro R. Singer, 84 known as Rosie to friends, and better known as Coco to her familia. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 19, 2025, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born August 22, 1940, in the city of Chilpancingo, Mexico state of Guerrero. Beloved mother and cherished friend to all she encountered. She was full of life, and enjoyed every minute she could with loved ones, and friends alike. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed making things for them. As well as going to their many school, and sporting events over the years. She adored her family from here and in Mexico where she spent her younger years, before coming to the U.S. over 55 years ago. She had lived in Mexico City, and her hometown of San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas. She had different jobs over the years but loved and excelled at being a nurse assistant. Known for her warmth, humor, enjoyment of music with her son, love of going out dancing especially with her niece, and traveling with her daughter, she did her best to enjoy life to the fullest.

She is survived by her son, Charles Singer; daughter, Rosana Collins; grandchildren Christian Collins, Sarah Collins, and Marisha Woehler; sisters-in-laws, Emelina Paniagua, Roseanne Spitz; nieces, Rocio Lamartine, Judy Coates, Irma Trujillo Penagos; nephews, Tom Spitz, and wife Kathy Spitz, Sergio Lamartine, Omar Lamartine, Eduardo, Lamartine, Ernesto Trujillo, Eddy Gomez; great-nieces and nephews, Jordan Donaphin, Marlaina (Donaphin) Calhoun, and her husband, Doug Calhoun, Rayna Newsom, Kasten Hammons, Jason Hammons, and his wife Mackenzie Hammons; great-great nieces and nephews Kylin Hammons, Eliana Hammons, Layla Hammons, Teegan Calhoun, and Houston Calhoun, and her beloved dog, Papi. We also like to recognize all the familia from here, and Mexico, that we have not mentioned. She always had a dear place in her heart for each and every one you.
