Siegfried Johnny Edward Trotter "Johnn" was born June 6, 1950 in Karlsruhe Germany. His mom, Irmgard "Rosie" and father Clyde met when Clyde was a soldier and Rosie a young German waif. As what happened to many young girls who met and fell in love with American soldiers, Clyde was called back home to the US and Rosie and Johnn had to come to America later via Ellis Island.

His father's family was from Sevire County Tennessee. He spent some years there and later his family moved to Indianapolis. He attended Ball State University majoring in business administration. He spent most of his career teaching and being a dad to his precious sons.

Johnn was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams included Notre Dame, Kyle attended, Butler, Tyson attended, Tennessee Vols, St. Louis Cardinals and several others.

Give Johnn five minutes and he would start bragging about his sons sports prowess. They both played football and won many titles. His grandsons have inherited the natural talent and he couldn't have been more proud.

Johnn's absolute favorite thing was spending time with his family. He was an avid camper and was share owner of a 5th wheel. He loved festivals, antique cars (especially Mustangs), he could spend hours in antique shops looking for hidden treasures, reading his many books (westerns were his favorites), playing cards or dominoes, and just having a good time with friends and family.

Johnn and Susan met through eHarmony and their first date was at Christmas at the zoo. It really was love at first sight. We decided if we could survive 0 degree temps and riding a train around the zoo, we must be made for each other.

Johnn had a big personality. He had a great sense of humor. He liked fun and laughing and was willing to go and try almost anything once.

Johnn is survived by his wife, Susan Abbott Trotter; his former spouse, MaryBeth Trotter; his sons, Tyson (Courtney) and Kyle (Heidi); four grandsons, Carson, Kieran, Hank, and Hayes; and his brother, Danny. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Irmgard (Rosie).

He will be missed by not only his family but everyone who he touched.
