Sherry Lynn Massey

Sherry was born in Noblesville, IN to Vicky (Paul) Passwater as an only child. Her stepfather, James Passwater, mother, and her biological father, Marc A. Strong, preceded her in death.

Sherry is survived by her loving spouse, Anthony H. Massey, and step-mother, Ronda R. Strong.

Sherry was a fighter, a very strong-spirited woman, who loved adventure, fast automobiles, Native American art, flower gardens, and butterflies. In 2014 Sherry suffered a massive heart attack, which weakened her heart muscle, resulting in a permanent disability, followed by a stroke in 2021, which miraculously she survived.

Sherry gave her life to Jesus Christ and became very active in volunteer ministry, visiting others in hospitals and shut-ins. Sherry looked forward to her weekly Bible study and when she could no longer participate, she enjoyed messages of hope and inspiration on Facebook. Her boldness, beauty and bravery will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at the FARM (located in the Fortville Christian Church facilities) August 15, 2026 from 11am – 1pm.
