Sherrie Kay Wiseman

Sherry Kay Wiseman, 81, of Indianapolis, died on May 20, 2026, in Pendleton, Indiana at the Rawlings House.

She was born on October 15, 1944, in Vincennes, Indiana to Roland Lee Ridge and Marjorie Clare Beacher Ridge.

Sherrie attended Saint Rose Academy High School in Vincennes and then went on to receive her bachelor's degree

in nursing at Vincennes University. She was a nurse for fifty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband

Linn Wiseman of Vincennes, her niece Leslie Lane Luckiewicz of Indianapolis, and brother Francis Lee Ridge of Newburg, Indiana.

Sherrie had a love for animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking in various parks.

Her hobbies were painting beautiful landscapes, Bible reading, and she had interest in learning about her ancestry, and the

Native Americans of Indiana.

Survivors include her sister, Marjie Ann Lane, sister-in-law Carolyn Ridge, brother Steve Ridge and wife Cheryl. She had several

nieces and nephews, Christopher Lane and wife Mercedes and Leslie's children, grandniece Katie Luckiewicz Ellison-Hines of

Indianapolis, and her grandnephew, Kyle Luckiewicz, of California.

Sherrie had a simple cremation. There will be no funeral or memorial service.
