Shayla Lachelle Smock

Shayla Lachelle Smock, 40, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away May 9, 2025.

She was born to Gerald and Tina (Nash) Smock on February 9, 1985, in Houston, Texas on I-10 in the family vehicle while Tina was trying to get to the hospital.

Shayla is survived by her mom, Tina Smock; children, Shaylynn, Jaydin, Haylie; grandsons, Demeachio, Jayceon; siblings, Dorinda, Tabatha, Jesse and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Gerald Smock and fiance', Joshua Bonner.

Shayla was a loving caring mother, sister, gigi, daughter. She loved taking care of her nieces and nephews over the years while her sisters worked. Shayla was a very vibrant free spirited and a one of a kind woman and gigi to her grandsons.

Visitation is Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.
