Sharon Lynn Craven

Sharon Lynn Craven, 78, of Martinsville, left with the Lord on February 15, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born in Nitro, West Virginia on January 23, 1948 to Fred and Helen Craven.

She was the mother of four: Christopher Shamblin (in spirit), C. Shane Shamblin (Alisia), Denise R. Miller (Gary), and Brad A. Johnson (in spirit), and the Godmother of Carrie A. Clark and Alisia Rose. She is survived by four grandchildren: Holly McElfresh (Joe), Kaleigh Shamblin (Damion), Trenton Miller, and Brittany Miller. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: Mayci McElfresh, Chloe McElfresh, Camden Miller, Ryder Shane (Moosie) Durden, and Kaiden Durden; along with one brother, John Craven of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia; and her 2 furbabies, Buster & Dakota, her beloved morkies.

She loved cooking, painting, fly-fishing, and spending time in the outdoors with family. She was someone who truly put others before herself throughout her lifetime.

Her kind, loving, heart will be missed by many.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 23 at Indiana Funeral Care West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time. Sharon will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
