Sharon Sue Cox

Sharon Sue (McQueen) Cox, 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away April 27, 2025, at her home.

She was born August 24, 1957, in Somerset, Kentucky to Vernon and Vesta (Branscum) McQueen. Sharon grew up in Somerset, Kentucky but spent her adult life in Shelbyville, Indiana.

She is survived by her mother, Vesta McQueen; children, Paul (Ashley) Hardin, Troy (Jessica) Johnson; siblings, Connie Noe, Teresa Ferguson, Donald McQueen, Renee Greene; grandchildren, Callan Bleau, Remi and Weslie Hardin, Graham, Reece, and Blaine Johnson.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and loved watching horror movies. She was an amazing grandmother who always put others first. She will be deeply missed.

There will be no services. The family will celebrate her life in Kentucky this summer.
