Sarah Letha Cade was called home to our Lord on June 20, 2026. She was born February 12, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Arnold and Ann Cade. To all those who knew her understood her passion for helping and uplifting others. Shortly after her birth, she was baptized at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sarah was the third oldest girl out of seven children. Sarah attended Holy Angels Catholic Church and Arsenal Technical High School.

Sarah had a passion for cooking shortly after high school she began her career working fast foods and quickly working her way up as a manager. While loving her family life, Sarah always found time to volunteer at the homeless shelters passing out foods. She will give you the shirt off her back and open her home to anyone that needed help. Sarah was the kind of woman who would pray with you worship with you encourage you support you. She was a faithful servant of God. She would always find time to send you an inspirational message through Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, and she would always end her phone calls with I love you.

Sarah always found time to have fun by going dancing, having cookouts, enjoying being with her families and her friends and listening to R&B music, looking at the young and the restless, her favorite song was Sarah smile she would say this song was made just for her.

Sarah spent her life seeing the good in everyone and making sure everyone around her was happy. Sarah was a woman who would lend a hand and never asks for anything in return. Sarah was a dedicated mother, sister, friend and grandmother and auntie and great auntie.

Sarah has been called home to be with her family and friends that has also left us too soon. Sarah will eternally be loved, she will always be missed, and she will forever live in our hearts. Sarah will urge each one of us to never take a moment for granted she would ask each of us to live our lives by sharing the kindness part of our heart with each other.

She leaves to celebrate her life, three children, two sons Dennis Thompson JR, Desmond Thompson, one daughter Shaikia Thompson, three sisters Salina Williams ‘Magee, Idella Cade Rucker, Tina Perkins, three brothers Anthony Cade, Tirron Cade, Arlandis Cade, one sister-in-law Kiwana Cade, two brother-in-law‘s Jeff Magee, Kenny Rucker and eight grandkids Mya ,Mariah,Mariana, Izear ,Nazarius, Kenzie , Sa’Vayah, Synai.

Preceded Sarah in death was her mother and father Arnold & Ann Cade her grandmother Roxic Cade her brother in law Roland Williams and her Fiancé Larry Gaines & her sister Carmen Cade. A host of family and friends.

The family of Sarah wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice Team Dr. Debra Carter-Miller, Dr. Kelly Patton Boyd, Nurse Brittney Levi, Social Worker Rolanda Jones, Summer Grays, Mercy Angels Hospice & Community North Hospital &(Caregiver) Tina Bond & Tasha Cathey.

A visitation for Sarah will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care East, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM also at the funeral home.
