Sandra M. Bowen, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away April 14th, 2021. She was born June 3, 1948 in Indianapolis to the late Ralph Rafferty and Mary Rafferty. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Carlos M. Bowen; sons, Michael E. Lester, Kevin T. Spurr, and Patrick J. Spurr; and brother, Ralph Rafferty. She was preceded in death by her son, Joey Spurr.
Friends and family are invited to gather from 11:00am-1:00pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Indiana Funeral Care with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
