Sandra Kaye Dolbey, 82, passed on July 6, 2026; she was born on February 6, 1944, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and resided in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sandra Kaye Dolbey was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 6,1944 at Parkview Hospital. Sandy spent half of her life living in Woodburn, Indiana and Fort Wayne, Indiana and the other half of her life living in Springfield, Ohio and Urbana, Ohio. Sandy really loved her job, her family, her friends, her husband Gary Dolbey, she especially loved to travel, vacation, eat out, the movie theater, her job at Navistar, and working all the overtime she could get. Sandy's husband, Gary Dolbey, passed away on June 13, 2006, and Sandy seemed to not have any desire to ever date or remarry again, because she loved Gary Dolbey, her husband, very much. Sandy worked at Gump's hardware in Woodburn, Indiana during her high school years and after high school, she worked for Globe Life insurance, a radio station, I believe it was WOWO (1190 AM), and lastly worked for Navistar for 56 years. Sandy really loved her job at Navistar. I believe everyone was surprised when she finally retired. Sandy was also a mother and a wife. Surviving family include her son Thomas King Jr., her granddaughter Katie (Mason) King, her nephew Randy Oblow and his family, her cousins Neil and Ron Rhodes and their families, her ex daughter-in-law Jacquelyn Bruce and family, her friends Jack and Martha Poiry, Jason and Alicia Troester, Linda Harrison, Kay Rekeweg, Lucy Gilpin, Carol George, her hairdresser Robert Mumford, and the rest of her friends not mentioned. Sandra Kaye Dolbey unfortunately passed away on July 6, 2026 at the age of 82 years old. Sandra Kaye Dolbey will be missed, rest in peace Sandra Kaye Dolbey!

Visitation will be held at Indiana Funeral Care West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46224, US, on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will take place at Venedocia Cemetery, 14904 SR 116, Venedocia, OH 45894, US, on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
