Sammual J Tucker

Samuel J. Tucker, 81, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2026.

After retiring from Tyson's Mexican Original, Samuel moved to California, where he spent several years before returning to his home state of Indiana. Once back in Indiana, he embraced a quiet and peaceful life, enjoying his favorite Western movies and listening to music from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He found comfort in the simple things and treasured the familiar routines that brought him joy.

Samuel is survived by his daughter, Robin Tucker; his grandson, Mackenzie Tucker; his sister, Dixie Hall; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and a few cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Janet Tucker; his mother, Myrtle Tucker; his father, Frank Tucker; and many brothers and sisters.

Samuel will be remembered for his quiet nature, his love of classic Westerns and timeless music, and the memories he leaves with those who knew and loved him.
