Roy Major III

Roy E. Major III, 53, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born on Friday, June 5, 1970, to Roy E. Major Jr. and Roxie A. Loyal Wise in Indianapolis. He was lovingly raised by Shirley Major.

Roy served as a shipping supervisor for 23 years at KYB in Franklin, Indiana.

Roy is proceeded in death by his mother, Roxie Wise and ex-wife, Julie Simms Major.

He is survived by his daughter, Rayiha Sims Major of Greewood, son, Chris of Indianapolis, father, Roy E. Major Jr. of Indianapolis; brothers, Keith Michael Major of Venus, Texas and Paul Riley of Greenwood; sisters, Melissa Conningham of Indianapolis and Judy Major of Greenwood; step mothers, Jolinna Major of Greenwood and Shirley Major of Venus, Texas, along with many nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will take place Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel. A funeral service will follow starting at 1:00pm.
