Rosemary Illeane Antonides

Rosemary (Rosie) Antonides of Fishers, IN passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2023. Rosemary was born to the late Willis Burk and Isabel Dunham Burk in Noblesville on October 18, 1935. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Antonides and brother Charles (Rusty) Burk.

Rosemary married her late husband Marvin (Pete) Antonides on March 6, 1954. She retired from Washington Twp Schools where she was a bookkeeper. During her working career, she also worked for Mt. Vernon Community Schools and Carmel Community Schools, as well as the Fortville Bureau of Motor Vehicles in the late 1960’s.

Rosemary was 1986 President of the Indiana Assoc of Educational Secretaries. She headed up a Red Hats Society group of ladies in her Bluestone neighborhood. Due to her love of quilting she co-founded Mudsock Quilters Guild. She enjoyed entertaining, flower gardening and crafting.

Rosemary was a member of the Fishers United Methodist Church and Eden Chapter #101 Order of the Eastern Star.

A memorial gathering will be held at Indiana Funeral Care – Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 on Tuesday, December 12 from 1pm to 3pm, with a memorial service beginning at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society.
