Roseanna, Ann (Pickrell) Mathena, 100, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025. Ann was born April 15,1925 to Uva Sylvester and Grace Pauline (Boone) Pickrell.
Ann lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion to her family. She worked at Firestone for 33 years and was known for her independence and strong work ethic. Ann took great pride in her home and garden, tending to her yard until she was no longer able. Ann was a member of the Eastern Star.
Ann was an active member of her church, First Christian Church, for many years and loved the Lord dearly. She spent many years in bible study and cultivating friendships within the congregation.
Her greatest joy came from her family. After retiring, Ann dedicated herself to caring for her children and grandchildren; attending every concert, game, and event she could. She was a constant source of love and support, creating cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Mathena; her first husband, Richard (Dick) Meredith, her daughters Cynthia A. Meredith and Deborah K. (Mathena) Kinney, and her son James K. Mathena. She is survived by her son Richard A. Meredith, brother Lawrence Pickrell, grandchildren Dax Meredith (Christine), Amanda Trestrail (Sean), Betina Mobley (Tim), Alecia Stout (Craig), Christyn Bailey (Eric), and many great grandchildren who adored her.
The family has decided to postpone services due to health concerns. Service date and time will be shared once a date and time has been confirmed.
Her legacy of love, faith, and family will never be forgotten.
