Elizabeth Rosanne Marusa, known to all who loved her as Rosanne, passed away at the age of 73. Born Elizabeth Rosanne Feeney in Indianapolis on December 22, 1952, she was known for many years as Rosanne Fruehman before her marriage to Robert Marusa. She made her home in Noblesville, Indiana, for more than 40 years.
Rosanne spent many years as a dedicated dental hygienist, a profession she loved deeply — not only for the work itself but for the colleagues and patients who became part of her life. Outside of her career, she had a gift for enjoying life’s pleasures: she loved shopping, traveling, fine dining, and curling up with a good book. She especially delighted in entertaining and hosting parties for the friends and family she held so dear.
Her generosity was the heart of who she was. She volunteered for years with Hadassah and the IHC Sisterhood, and more than anything, she found joy in giving to those in need and helping others in any way she could. That spirit of kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Rosanne is survived by her husband, Robert Marusa; her children, Ben (Michelle) Fruehman and Leslie (Joseph) Fruehman-Morris; her grandchildren, Henry and Ethan Fruehman; her stepsons, Kevin and Scott Marusa; and her sisters, Janet Garrison and Rosalie Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Josephine Feeney.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Rosanne’s memory and the love she gave so freely.
