Rosalie Brooks

Rosalie Elaine Brooks, 81, passed away at her home on August 1st, 2023. She was born on June 15th, 1942, to Herman J and Margaret Edna (Price) Schnier.

Rosalie went to Southport High School and married her high school sweetheart, Richard Allen Gent. After his passing, she married Kenneth E Brooks and celebrated 57 years of marriage this May.

Rosalie worked for several years as a real estate agent for Century 21, and later in life at Rosegate Senior Living as a receptionist, where she was loved and adored by all.

Rosalie loved spending countless hours with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved cooking, entertaining, and decorating for the holidays. She also played the piano and loved singing.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billie Schnier, Henry Schnier; and her sister, Carolyn Richards.

Surviving her, in addition to her husband, is her brother, Richard (Pat) Schnier; and her four daughters, Terri Gent, Tammy Wolsiffer, Tracy (Leonard) Porter, and Tonya (Jon) Kennedy; her grandchildren, Amanda Wolsiffer-Findlay, Megan (James) Cheatham, Emily (Justin) Sherman, Aaron (Morgan) Porter, Brady Wolsiffer, and Callie (Austin) Clark. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Rosalie's Life will be held later.
