Rosalee Pringle, 74, of the Indianapolis area, passed away on March 23, 2026. She was a woman who embraced life fully and found joy in the everyday — someone whose laughter was as natural as breathing and whose lively spirit drew people close. She will be most remembered for her sharp wit.
Born in 1951, Rosalee grew up in Beech Grove, Indiana, where she graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1969. The close friendships she formed in those halls were not fleeting — they were the kind that endured across decades. She went on to attend Indiana University.
Rosalee is survived by her husband, Galen Brown, and her much beloved son, Justin Henderson, and his wife, Janine. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Raven, Jace, and Riley. She also leaves behind her only sibling and much-loved sister, Penny Bowsher, and Penny's husband, Ronald Bowsher, as well as a large extended family of nieces and nephews who knew her fondly as their warm and gregarious Aunt Rosalee.
Those who knew Rosalee knew someone who loved life — not quietly or in passing. Her opinions and laughter were gifts she gave freely. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. Pringle and Lois (Aaron) Pringle, who no doubt shaped the grace and spirit she carried throughout her years.
Rosalee was cremated, and a private gathering of family and close friends is planned to honor her memory and celebrate a life well and joyfully lived.
