Ronald Valentine Vodney

Ronald Valentine Vodney, 85, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 three days before his 86th birthday. 

Ron was born on December 26, 1937 in Lamberton, PA to the late Carl and Margaret (Wright) Vodney. Ron moved to Indianapolis when he was a teenager where he lived until his passing. Ron worked for the United States Postal Service for 17 years until he retired in 2004. Ron and Aida were married in 2002 in the Philippines and shared 21 years together. 

Ron is survived by his wife, Aida Vodney; sons, Brett Vodney and Steve Vodney; siblings, Jerry Vodney, Ginny Hatchings; grandchildren, Christopher Vodney, Aaron Vodney and Kylie Vodney.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Margaret Vodney; son, Brian Vodney; brother, Carl Vodney Jr., and sister, Nancy Merill.

Memorial visitation is Friday, January 5, 2024, 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Celebration of life will begin at 5:00 pm.
