Ronald Reid Mohr

GREENWOOD, Indiana – Ronald Reid Mohr, 80, of Greenwood passed peacefully with his family by his side the evening of January 30th at Community South Hospital. Ron was born September 18, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Charles and Lulu Mohr. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1957. Ron soon joined the Army National Guard and served as an MP. On September 16, 1961, Ron married Donna Kay Owen in Indianapolis.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Ron worked with his father (owner) at Bloomfield Brick Company and retired from NWSC Crane in 2001. He was also a member of Lions Club, Bloomfield Jaycee’s and Greenwood Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Donna (Owen); two sons, Tony (Beth), Greenwood and Adam (Maggie), Greenwood; six grandchildren, Tyler, Chelsea, Dylan (Indianapolis), Sophie, Charlie Rose and Phoebe (Greenwood).
Service will begin at 11:30am on Saturday, February 8th with visitation from 10-11:30am at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
