Ronald K. Hofer, of Fairland Indiana, passed away on June 26, 2026. Born on July 16, 1944, Ron was the son of Malcolm and Dorothy Smullen. He spent his immediate years following high school in the United States Air Force in Arizona. Following his military service, he found employment at Ford Motor Company and retired there at the age of 61.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Janet Sanders. He is survived by his niece Lynda Sanders, and nephews Steve Sanders, Jim Sanders, Keith Sanders, and Rob Sanders.
His life is celebrated in a private ceremony among family.
Ron’s wit and good nature will be missed and forever remembered.
