Ron Wakefield

Ron Wakefield, 86, passed away on May 18, 2025. He was born in Linton, IN, the oldest of 3 boys. Ron graduated from IU in Bloomington, a member of Acacia Fraternity and the Singing Hoosiers. He earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from USC.

Ron left the Air Force as a First Lieutenant in 1966 and married Mary that same year. They have 2 children, Wayne who is deceased and Dr. Tara Wakefield. Ron and Mary have 2 granddaughters, Bianca and Sophia. Ron sang in the St. Luke's choir for 45 years. Ron worked at TRW, Hughes and Indiana Bell. After retiring, he worked at H & R Block for a number of years.
